Exercise therapy for a child's scoliosis
physiotherapy for scoliosis · scoliosis exercises · posture exercises for kids · Schroth method
These are special exercises that strengthen the back muscles and teach your child to hold good posture. They are chosen to fit the type of curve.
For children and teens with scoliosis or poor posture, on their own or together with a brace.
⏱ Duration: a session usually takes 30 to 60 minutes; exercising continues for months

Be sure to tell your doctor

- Clothing. Close-fitting sports clothes so the back can be seen. Barefoot or in socks is fine.

Common questions
Will exercise therapy fix scoliosis?
It helps stop the curve from getting worse and improves posture. How much depends on the degree.
Can my child just go swimming?
Swimming is good, but it does not replace the special exercises.
