For drivers of company vehicles, before every trip or shift.
⏱ Duration: usually 3 to 5 minutes

Be sure to tell your doctor
How to prepare
- Sleep. Get a good night's sleep before the trip.
- Alcohol. Do not drink the day before. Even alcohol in the evening can still show on the device in the morning.
- Medicines. Some medicines slow your reaction. Tell the medic what you take, but do not stop on your own.

Common questions
What if my blood pressure is high?
The medic may not clear you for the trip and may send you to a doctor. This is for your safety.
Will the breathalyzer pick up mouthwash?
Sometimes. Wait a little and take the test again. This is the usual practice.
