Common questions

Should I stay silent if I lose my voice?

Usually you are advised to talk less and not whisper, because whispering also strains the vocal cords. The doctor will tell you exactly what to do.

How is a voice doctor different from a regular ENT?

A voice doctor knows more about the voice: how the vocal cords work and how to restore them.
